The 3543 features a unique pull apart design that enables the extensometer to be used in rugged tensile test applications such as rebar testing, where the sample ridges prohibit use of extensometers that slide when they reach their end stops. In addition, the unit design makes the creation of long or non-standard gage lengths easy. Travel is available in 1 or 2 inch versions. |
